How to add or change the URL Link in a Flash SWF banner file?

1. Purchase, Download and Install the SWIx Kit – SWIxKit.com/ (purchase commercial version!)
This application will open SWF files and allow you to modify basic elements, like the URL Link.
2. Open the SWF file you want to modify.
3. Switch your View to -> Movie XML
4. Scroll down 8 pages and find these Tags:
“<ButtonCondactions>”
“</ButtonCondactions>”
5. Replace those tags with the following and insert the Affiliate URL you wish to use for tracking. Example:

<ButtonCondaction RollOver=”false” RollOut=”false” Press=”false” Release=”true” PushDragOut=”false” PushDragOver=”false” PushReleaseOutside=”false” MenuDragOver=”false” MenuDragOut=”false”>

6. Click the CHECK MARK button to verify the XML. Then SAVE the file. Be sure to include the .SWF extension.
7. Right click and “Close” the file. You will be prompted that the file has CHANGED and needs to be saved. Even though you just saved it, you must click “Yes” to save, then Save the file AGAIN.
8. Finished. It’s as easy as that.
